Founded in 2024 at Auburn University, Chifforo is a campus-native, peer-to-peer marketplace where college students can buy, rent, and sell fashion within their own university community, right on campus.

Whether you're buying a game day outfit, renting a dress for a formal, or selling clothes you no longer wear, every transaction happens between classmates. No sketchy posts, no shipping fees, no expensive subscriptions, no lengthy delivery times, and no high price tags. Just your campus, your classmates, and your closet.

Our mission is simple: make fashion accessible, affordable, and community-driven for every college student. We believe you shouldn't have to break the bank to show up and feel your best, and that the best deals are already living right on your campus. We're just here to help you discover them.
Meet the Founder
Hi there! I'm Isabella, the founder of Chifforo and a Junior studying Interior Design at Auburn University.
When I first started college, I quickly realized that there were too many events going on around me, and little my wardrobe could do to keep up with each. As college students know all too well, money is sparse, and clothing is expensive; when I realized I wasn't the only one struggling with wardrobe panic, that was my aha moment!
I started Chifforo after realizing that the pressure to dress for every college occasion was real and the budget to keep up with it wasn't. What began as a simple idea has bloomed into a project I'm incredibly proud of, and I can't wait to share it with students everywhere. Chifforo is more than a marketplace. It's a community, and I'm so glad you're here. ;)
